I cannot believe that December is almost over. It was a busy month at school, but a fun month. The munchkins are so nice this year, lucky me. The gingerbread (graham cracker) house party turned out so well. I had tons of donations and two fabulous moms who helped me cut all the crackers. My sister came and helped little girls whose moms could not make it.
My doctor still isn't sure what is wrong with me because I am not responding to the medicine the way they thought I would.. I keep asking am I always going to have pain, they hem and haw, grrrrrr. If I am I just want them to tell me, because then I can get my mind wrapped around it and just go with it. I am thinking of getting a second opinion, but would have to go to Salt Lake.
I had a fun Christmas Eve breakfast with my sister and some of her family, we went to Perkins. It was warm and the food was good. Last year we went to me and Stan's and about froze to death. I did miss the house hash browns though YUM! It was fun to spend time together.
I didn't get to go to the Steiner party because I was having a shaky week. In some ways I don't like to go anymore because I know my cousin Jean will never be there again. I miss her, it did not matter how long we had been apart, we could just start talking and laughing, I sure miss her. Every time I go to a party I look for her and then realize she won't be coming, ever. My heart cries a little each time.
New year, new resolutions, don't have any yet, I will have to think of some.:)

Doctors shoving more and more pills down you don't have a clue. They're using you for an experiment.

Are you feeling any better? Researching your illness has scared the crap out of me. Have you read what in our food? Scary! I thought I would buy some organic milk today...$4.79/half gallon..Yikes, but still our food is full of all kinds of BAD crap.
ReplyDeleteOkay, this might sound nuts, but our very good friend's sister in-law took a thing called liph (pronounced life) it's a totally natural thing that helps level the ph balance in your body and it does all kinds of great things. I'll see if I can find their web site. Anyhow, it totally fixed her crazy stuff going on in her body. I agree, I wouldn't want to take pills forever either, especially since they don't fix anything. I hope you can find a second opinion. Dr's today just throw pills at you and say stupid shit. Brett's MRI totally shows disc damage and his GP told him that his back pain is all in his head. And then he offer him some strong narcotics to help with the pain....DOY! Yes, I have made some magically delicious stuff, I'll be posting a blog about it soon. Hang in there, did you watch Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead? I have a total crush on Joe, in a healthy sort of way. ;)
