Baseball Really!

I can't believe it, I thought now the Jazz aka tvhoggers were over that the hubster was done with sports. But no now it's something even worse! It's called girl's college softball and boy college baseball.

Can you believe it, neither can I! Another bad thing it's on more than one station at a time. That darn ESPN what were they thinking, don't they know it's my turn for the remote!!!!!

Also, if I must endure this awful turn of events I should be allowed cake, cake I tell you, lots and lots of it.  I have two days until cake time and I can't wait that long if I don't get to have the remote in my hand.

Also, I've been thinking about that old story about Marie Antoinette, you know the one about the cake comment.  Well, I have been thinking about this and I think she was misquoted because it made her look bad, who would give cake away?  I bet she said, "Here give them my bread and I'll eat the cake."  That would make more sense to me.  I mean really, who is willingly going to give up the cake.

I'm off to forage for cake or maybe clean another part of the house, but cake always comes first.  Hope you have a great day and I really hope ESPN has technical difficulties between the hours of 6-10 p.m.

Plotting

Here I am in my germ riddled life plotting.  I have been walking on air for about 24 hours because my niece and I are going to the zoo on Thursday and I have been promised C A K E!!!!!!!  Not just any cake (which I will take) but Lemon oh sweet lemon I wuv wemon (oh no I regressing).

So then,  I had a come down today because I just know she is going to make me wait for cake until after the zoo and after the lunch.  I really don't think I can wait that long, I haven't had cake in years,  I tell you years.  So now I'm plotting how to get a piece before the zoo and before the picnic.

I have considered several scenarios  (ninja spring down from a tree into the sun window, park ranger there aren't any at the zoo, car jacker I don't want to get hurt or arrested) and have discarded them all.  So I'm going with the sympathy ploy,  "ooohhh I'm soooo hungry I didn't have time for breakfast."  or "I feel faint I think my blood sugar is low and may need some sugar"  or even "do you think we should have a little snack before going into the zoo so we can keep up our strength".  I don't know which one I will use yet but I'm sure this will work, it's got to work, I'm also working on my hungry, faint, weak faces.

I
Need
CAKE!!!!

Please

Excuse me I have to text, e-mail and facebook my niece so she doesn't forget the cake.

Finally

Finally I am going to find out who killed Rosie Larson. Last year I was quite miffed when the season finale didn't conclude anything. In fact, I felt cheated, very, very cheated. So all I can say is they better tell me who the murderer is or else. The hubster and I started our summer vacations with the head cold from Hades. I mean it was more than awful, it was nasty and cruddy and awful. I don't think I need to go on. It was awful I tell ya. The hubster has a class in poky all this week. It is my life's mission to scour the house from top to bottom. I feel compelled to do this since my mother in law told me my house was a germ filled pit. She also mentioned that if I got rid of my cats and pigeons I wouldn't be agerm riddled person. Yes she really did say all this and to be honest I was mad for about ten minutes and then I went home and rolled around in my germ riddled home. Now, let's be honest I say I'm going to clean but I know that books and blogs will call my name and I will answer the call. Oh well, I guess I'm destined to be germ ridden all my life. Better dirty than nutty I say.

Life, happy, sad, amazing

My heart breaks for my friend whose twenty eight year old daughter died unexpectedly yesterday. The tears of my heart continue because I cannot imagine the pain and sadness of this grieving family. Now two little children are motherless and a husband is without his beloved wife. Through the tears I remember our SAvior who died that we might live and live again. I love you my gracious Heavenly Father, you who loves me and everyone unconditionally. I know You weep at the sorrow of your children, but I also know You are continually blessing us, your children. Though death seems permanent it is not, I know that we will rise again. I know that Marley is safe and happy in Your loving arms. Thank you for that precious knowledge. Life is fleeting but not the end, rest easy and know that Jesus loves us and He knows us.
